Black Door Gallery is also an Indigenous and Australian Art Gallery that spans over two floors. We support more than 50 Aboriginal artist, both local and from all parts of Australia. We cover a diverse range of Indigenous artworks from artist that are from both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island backgrounds, in both traditional and contemporary styles.
Black Door Gallery also supports a number of Australian artists who specialise in Australian landscapes, flora and fauna. All artists can be commissioned to produce artworks to your requirements…. It all starts with a conversation.

Over the years, we have grown into one of Sydney’s premier framing companies, offering expert craftsmanship and creative solutions for artworks, memorabilia, photography, and more. We are passionate about combining technical skill with artistic understanding to ensure every piece we frame is presented at its very best.
Our dedicated team is trained to the highest standards in all areas of custom framing, including cutting and joining frames, standard and acid-free mounting, needlework, canvas and tapestry stretching, glass cutting, and more. With strong creative backgrounds, our team brings a keen eye for detail and design to help clients achieve the ideal presentation for their work.
We are excited to announce that we have now moved to our new location at 65 Muscatel Way, Orchard Hills. Our new premises provide a larger, more versatile space, along with a spacious and more personal car park with easy access and wheelchair-friendly facilities.

All artworks that are sent to us are framed in-house. The artist does not pay for any framing. Instead, we build the cost of framing into the recommended retail price. We also give the artist a 20% kickback off the framing to maximise their return on the sale.
Black Door Gallery is committed to helping our artists grow in confidence to become self sufficient, and understand their value, to maximise their price point that is in line with the time and effort put into each unique piece.
